A range of classic locomotives used by the London and North Western Railway
(LNWR) and the LMS after grouping.
The kits now come with spring buffers (please state which type) and optional
rigid tender chassis where applicable. Unless otherwise stated, the kits
contains
an etched
nickel chassis (and tender); an etched brass body with a pre-rolled boiler;
and lost wax
and white metal fittings. 4mm scale kits contain a cast boiler and tender
tops, including the tender flare.

LNW1 Precedent 2-4-0 (Hardwicke)
Popularly known a Jumbos, the Precedents were powerful, free steaming locos.
'Hardwicke' became the most famous of the class during the 'Races to the North'
in 1885.

LNW2 Coal Tank 0-6-2T
This kit represents a successful tank loco originally designed for freight work
but also used on suburban passenger trains. A long lived class, the last loco
(BR 58926) has been restored to LNWR condition for use on preserved lines.
The kit has a new chassis design.

LNW3 'Cauliflower' 0-6-0
This kit represents a large class of goods locomotives with over 50 surviving
into BR days. A must for LMS modellers since these locos were seen over
a large part of the system.

A revamped kit of an unusual prototype (3-cylinder Compound). The kit has
been redesigned for accuracy and simple construction. Has parts to make
a 2000 gallon tender.

0-6-0 with 1800 gallon tender
Introduced by Webb in 1873, the Coal Engine was the first design
that he was entirely responsible for, and over 500 were built.
The last were withdrawn
by BR in 1953.

LNW7 Webb 2-4-2T
A class of 160 locomotives subsequently used on secondary passenger services
and latterly on branch line duties all over the LMS system. A large number
were fitted for push-pull working. BR took ownership of 43 with one sold
off for industrial service. Sprung buffers, handrail knobs and screw couplings
are included. An updated kit, now with milled rods.

LNW8 LNWR/LMS G1/G2 Super 'D' (Bowen Cooke Tender)
Developed from a Webb design of 1892 the G2 Class was introduced in 1921.
This kit represents the Belpaire version introduced in 1936 with the
Bowen Cooke tender.
The 4mm version has a cast boiler, tender top and Comet Models
chassis. The 7mm version has a new chassis with milled rods, but
still have cast tender tops.
